How to use Taoism FU in Tin Yat Lineage?

First, Acitvate the FU!

Common Usage Methods

Activation Immediately Upon Recieve 啟動

Put the FU (all) in between your two palms and say "Tin Yat Ling 天一令", stomp the left foot once, bow 3 times. Done. (Refer to video above)

Carry 帶

Put the FU in your wallet or purse or anywhere that you can carry with for the amount of days the fu is effective. When expired, trash the FU. ($1.00 lamination fee - optional) If you want lamination, please add a note there and purchase a TAO.HEART in the cart.

Tape,貼

Tape the FU facing outward using normal tape, tape on wall or location as instructed.

Bath 淨身

Burn the FU (starting on the top) and keep flame pointing upward, let fu all burn down and ashes will float to the bowl beneath. Burn whatever is leftover with a match or lighter, then make sure there are no paper left. Add water. Now open a tub of warm water, pour FU-water in and mix. Go in and bath for 20mins. Then drain tub, and do a normal bath. Change into all clean clothing. The previous clothing all toss in the basket to wash later.

Wash 洗

Burn the FU (starting on the top) and keep flame pointing upward, let fu all burn down and ashes will float to the bowl beneath. Burn whatever is leftover with a match or lighter, then make sure there are no paper left. Add water, use solution to wash things with, just add abit in the washing machine, dish washer, anything. Dilute if needed.

Drink 飲

Burn the FU (starting on the top) and keep flame pointing upward, let fu all burn down and ashes will float to the bowl beneath. Burn whatever is leftover with a match or lighter, then make sure there are no paper left. Add water. Drink all. You can filter out ashes if you want.

Burn 化

Hold FU up to chest level, burn the FU (starting on the top) and keep flame pointing upward, and circle clockwise while burning. Let fu all burn out and toss up high when almost finish. Clean up ashes later on by hand or vacuum.

Hide 藏

Hide the FU (folded) in a specific location as instructed.

Tap 拍

Use the FU's front face to tap all over your body, or things needed to be tapped, then burn the FU in a bowl the add water and pour it down the toilet and flush. Or burn in open area and let it fly away.

Wipe / Scan 掃

Hold FU with hand, clamping the top part with your index and middle finger. Use the FU's front face to wipe and scan all over your body, or things needed to be cleansed or scanned. Then burn the FU in a bowl the add water and pour it down the toilet and flush. Or burn in open area and let it fly away.

Why we charge for FU?

Charging a monetary fee for FU dates back to the origin of Taoism in the East Han Dynasty. When the first Celestial Master Jeung Dao Ling (34-156 AD) formed the official religion of Taoism, promoting his Taoism magic in exorcism and helping people to solve daily life problems, all FU do require a monetary charge. This gives the Taoist a way to sustain their living, and also to help sustain the temple's business so that the temple can keep on running and help more people.

We inherit the traditions and our masters Mak Jo Si and Lau Jo Si devoted their whole life into this path of being a full-time Taoism master and temple owner. Therefore, this is the only way they can make a living and sustain their temple to help more people.
