Taoism - Tin Yat Lineage system

bagwa

Do you remember what the above means? Yes, it is the evolution of bagwa. From nothing to Taichi, from taichi to yin/yang, and then split again and again to get 8 "gwa", symbol. The Tin Yat Lineage totally follow the way of nature and also does correspond to the the theory of taichi, bagwa and so on as well. Let's take a look at how it works.

From Nothing to Taoism

leungyi

First, from "TAOISM" which is 0 (zero) you first have "1" (one) which is the Taoism in the past. Taoism now turns to 2 parts. Just like Yin and Yang.

Yin - Traditional Taoism (- -)

Yang - Modern Taoism (---)

4jeung

From the two we now can categorize into four

1.Tai Yin - Traditional Static Taoism (bottom)
2. Siu Yin - Traditional Dynamic Taoism (right)
3. Siu Yang - Modern Still Taoism (left)
4. Tai Yang - Modern Dynamic Taoism (top)

From four to eight - the bagwa symbols

8gwa

From the diagram you see above, now we can see how you add one yin and one yang to each of the 4 and get 8 symbols. Now this is the bagwa. If you don't get it, revise our lessons in the previous chapters again and you will understand.

First, from the tai yin (bottom) you get:

add a yang = 7 艮 (Gun symbol) = Traditional static Taoism on the Yin side, which are the theories, scriptures, philosophies, fortune telling, zi wei dou shu and so on.

add a yin = 8 坤 (Kwan symbol) = Traditional static Taoism on the Yang side, which are Taoism fu, music magic, fengshui, medic, astronomy studies and so on.

Second, from the siu yin (left) you get:

add a yang = 3 離 (Lei symbol) = Traditional dynamic Taoism on the Yin side, which are rituals, ceremonies and rites performing and so on.

add a yin = 4 震 (Juan symbol) = Traditional dynamic Taoism on the Yang side, which are kungfu, weapon magic, exorcism and so on.

Third, from the Siu Yang (top) you get:

Add a yang = 5 巽 (Sun Symbol) = Modern static Taoism on the Yin side, which are Tao.Animal, wisdom and theories, daily wisdom and so on.

Add a yin = 6 坎 (Hum symbol) = Modern static Taoism on the Yang side, which are Tao.Taste, Tao.Game and so on.

Last, from the Tai Yang (Right) you get:

Add a yang = 1 乾 (Kin symbol) = Modern dynamic Taoism on the Yin side, which are Tao. Light, Tin Yat Art of War and theories and so on

Add a yin = 2 兌 (Dui symbol) = Modern dynamic Taoism on the Yang side, which are Tao.Gun, Tao. Blade, self defense with modern weapons, and so on.

How post-heaven bagwa -> pre-heaven bagwa and the months

taichibagwa812

According to the Fuk-Hey's invention, the Pre-heaven bagwa (left), we can now see what month correspond to our different subjects to flow with nature's pattern. The diagram on the right is the diagram that combine the 12 Dei-Jee 地支 "earthling branches" on the outer ring and the post-heavn bagwa on the inner ring. the pre-heaven bagwa is now things are like in space, but when the energy comes to earth, it flows in the post-heaven bagwa pattern according to Chow Man Wong's study which was proven to be 100% correct along with the study of the Lok-Sue 洛書 found by Dai-Yue 大禹 800 years after Fuk-Hey got his system together. Therefore, our subjects of teachings now falls into the post-heaven bagwa and so you can see how doing each subject in a certain month will benefit your energy flow! The Chinese is the "Dei Jee 地支 - earthling branches" that correspond to the month (look at the diagram on the right and you will see these on the outer ring):

子 Lunar November - Post bagwa shows 坎 (Hum Symbol)

Combine all together

Knowing how the nature works, we must find a way to harmonize ourselves with the energy flowing pattern of nature. The hoh-toe, lok-sue, pre-heaven bagwa, post-heaven bagwa, taichi, 4 seasons, 24 solar terms, 28 constellations, and all that foundational knowledge now all combine into one thing. (revise our previous lessons if you are lost). So as a human being on earth, we must know what is good to do at a certain time to harmonize ourselves with nature in the Taoism system as well. You may need to "counter" the energy or "flow along" with the energy depending on your current condition. It's deep and it's a massive system here. I will leave you here and we look forward to hold your hands and walk you through the long journey again in the near future. Tin Yat Lineage welcomes you all.
