Tao.Guns and Us
"Guns are good - they are not the mother of violence"
Many may think guns are related to violence, gangsters, and bad vibes. Actually that is a very shallow way to see it. If you say guns are that evil, then please put mamma's cooking knife in the list too for evils. Most criminals can just rob a place with a knife and some aggressive attitude. They do not need a gun to do their evil deeds. Therefore, guns are not the source of evils and violence.
Air pistol was introduced to the World Championship level in 1970, and on the Olympic programme in 1988. You can see that guns were long respected as sport as well. There are also 10-meter air-rifle, air-pistol, and many other different kinds of airguns competitions as well. Airgun as sport is very challenging, fun and healthy.
Airguns history started earliest in the 1580, invented with bigger calibers for hunting and later also use for warfares. As airguns improve it's technology over time, airguns started to become a sport and it is well known that the constructions of airguns are much more complex and delicate than firearms as well. Therefore, it is often only use by the skilled ones in the militaries in the old days. there we can see that airguns are also something that require wisdom and knowledge to handle, it's not just like hitting a person with a bat. It's very delicate, very complex and very deep.
The practice of marksmanship can promote one's courage, calmness, patience, and self esteem as well. Shooting is not easy, and it require lots of time to invest into the training. It's not just about picking up a gun and go bang bang bang like in the movies. It's much more than that. If you try to handle a gun the first time, I bet you that you will have trouble shooting what you want to shoot in 25 feet. Guns are not the source of violence, it's more of an art.
A steady hand, control of breathing, sharp sighting vision, and a calm and quiet mind to aim -- this is not easy. Those who think guns are a source of violence are just too shallow to see the truth behind this form of art. If guns can be closely bonded to violence, please do also put the government, the military, and the police in to the same category then. Our country is peaceful because we have the force required to sustain the peace within the city. Even if the country ban all guns with the laws, do criminals get a license first before they can get a gun off the black market? Do they really care? Guns are not evil, but the criminals' mind is. The evil people's mind are evil, not the gun.
Mak Jo Si and Tao.Gun Magic, Exorcism
Tao.Gun is not only about the magic and exorcism, but also about taste. With taste, you enjoy your guns and you understand their character. Guns are not just here as a "tool" for casting magic but it is also a piece of art, something that got "taste" in it, deep inside the art. You will love it when you understand it.
"Tao.Gun may sounds wild, but swords and spears can sounds wild a few thousands years ago for those early Taoist too.
Our Tin Yat Lineage magic emphasize on effectiveness and so things have to really work and have effect. Therefore Tao.Gun works! It's a fast and effective was to do magic. Imagine you have to chop the sword once to kill a ghost, now how about with a pull of the trigger for one? How much time can you save?
Tao.Gun magic made me stronger and also introduce me to a fashion of guns. It's not about violence, it's about taste, and I have turned Tao.Gun into an Art! Join me today!" -- Mak Jo Si (also known as C.Y Mac in the airgunning field, haha!)
