Today, Derek Ma Ming Ho (former aka Tin Wor) had been expel from Tin Yat Lineage officially by the two Jo Si (s) Mak Jo Si and Lau Jo Si. This announcement here is for all public to acknowledge the expulsion of the person because he was a "daai faat si" (level 3) Taoism Master in our lineage before. Therefore, it is a very serious matter for all.

This person had only contact with us to request for ordain from October 2010 and ordained in Tin Yat Lineage in November 2010. It is now Oct. 24.2011, therefore, he did not even learn for a year. Please note, this notice of expulsion for him will state that he have NOTHING to do with Tin Yat Lineage or Chi in Nature Ltd. anymore and if anybody do encounter this person in the future using the name of Tin Yat Lineage or Chi in Nature Ltd. we do appreciate you to inform us in any manners including e-mail, phone, etc,. We do not want any misunderstanding to happen, please don't hesitates to report back to us.

Derek Ma and Tin Yat Lineage Jo Si from 2003-2007 December 25

The two Jo Si(s) knew Derek Ma, Ma Ming Ho since 2003 and he first approached Mak Jo Si for help with exorcism due to his house and family being haunted by Tibetan black magic and so on. Later on, after the exorcism work was done, he decided to learn kung fu from Mak Jo Si and so he requested for private lessons but he always dragged for paying the monthly fee that was required and Mak Jo Si was more than patience with him on that. He still kept teaching him even he was always late to class, forgot to pay his monthly fee, dishonest, lazy on practicing and so on. On the good side, he got Mak Jo Si on the hobby of gold fish and that was also part of the happy moment as well.

In 2004, Derek Ma focused on learning kung fu and Taoism from Mak Jo Si and Lau Jo Si. He was taught a lot of kung fu and we also build an altar for him at home to worship the Taoverse Deity as well. Since his spiritual problems are all gone, he lived a much happier life with his career working at Best-Choice. He later went out to different places with the two Jo Si (s) to help out to perform Taoism ceremonies such as setting up altars, exorcism and so on.

In 2005-2006 was the transition from our home office to the actual location of the temple right now at 2600 John street. We offered Derek Ma free Taoism learning from then on since he always come over to the temple and hang out with us. The relationship between him and the two Jo Si (s) gotten closer than before and he received more private lessons than before as well which lead him to became the "Daai Si Hing" (the elder brother in lineage) who help to teach the kung fu classes and so on at our temple. Even he is in the position, his skills and training are not up to standard, so Mak Jo Si was non-stop whipping him around to make him practice more but he was still sluggish on his kung fu. During the mean while he was helping out at the temple but his Taoism learning was sluggish just like his kungfu as well. Below are photos from our Grand Opening Day in 2006 inside our temple at 2600 John Street. First photo on the left show Derek Ma with another student of Mak Jo Si, bringing in the BBQ Pig into the temple. Then the next two are showing Derek inside and outside the temple helping out and talking to people as well.

During the year of 2006-2007, Derek Ma's brother got possessed at home because he was haunted by Tibetan black magic and physically knocked down the altar. Derek Ma grabbed everything and went to the temple at mid-night to hide and for help. Later on, he ran away from home and the two Jo Si (s) accepted him to be under their wings. From then on, the two Jo Si (s) are like his parents instead. They provided residential space for Derek Ma to live, paid off a few thousand dollars (Canadian) of debts and credit card bills for him, buy him food to eat, clothing to wear, blankets, pillows, furniture and so on. Of course, teaching of Taoism, kung fu, feng shui and so on are all free of charge. He was treated like the two Jo Si (s) child instead of a student. All he have to do is to cultivate Taoism and learn his Taoism magic well then work in the temple to watch over the counter so that when clients come in he can tell them to come back at a certain time for the two Jo Si to come back. That's about it. He was totally protected, cared and the two Jo Si gave their true heart to him. From time to time, he always show the two Jo Si (s) his depressed facial expression and he just procrastinated and slack off on the couch. He said he is stressed and he is tired. Well, there is no possible way he can be tired with absolutely zero pressure style of living. So, what made him stressed out? He was even given the internet and computer to play games too! Below are more photos of Derek Ma at Chi in Nature's temple with our uniform at that time.

Too bad, he really do not think he fit in Taoism and so in 2007, he made the decision to leave the two Jo Si and the temple. At that time, the two Jo Si (s) were heartbroken and said if he want to come back and learn again, it would have to be after 3 years. During the mean while, he can get a taste of how "normal" people live a life, without the help of Taoism magic and so on. This marked the history of the relationship of Derek Ma and the two Jo Si from 2003-2007. He was gone temporary for three years. December 25, 2007 was the day he was officially leaving the temple and the two Jo Si (s), with all magical power withdrawed and expelled from the temple and lineage as well.

My Feeling toward Derek Ma - Mak Jo Si, for 2003-2007 December 25.

Derek Ma was a humorous person but his learning attitude and the bad habit with lying and dishonesty really piss me off from time to time. I enjoyed teaching him in the past because he did helped the other students in 2005-2006's winter to gather together and made the atmosphere warmer. On the other side, he did dragged the others a lot in the path of learning Taoism because he was sluggish and lazy, people just followed his footsteps and turn out the other students all got lazy , disrespectful and dishonest instead, which was a very big problem back then. Somehow we had compassion for him in the past and raised him like a child, giving him care by heart, money to pay off his huge amount of debts, teachings to promote his wisdom and so on. Too bad, seems like we did it wrong back then, he was spoiled. During 2007, December 25, we decided to give him two choices. One is stay and be good, one is leave and go on your own path. We said that if he want to learn Taoism, wait for three years before you make the decision, so that it will be a choice that you want to make by heart. Therefore, during this period of time, we have had good memories, but it ended in a tragedy.
